KNOXVILLE , TENNESSEE – Technology 2020, Knox County and the City of Knoxville are pleased to announce Knoxville as the host city for the 11th Annual Tennessee Valley Venture Forum (TVVF), which will be held on September 26-27, 2007 at the Knoxville Convention Center, Knoxville, Tennessee.

The TVVF has become one of the South’s most prominent venture capital conferences and Technology 2020 has made several important additions to further enhance this year’s event, including:

• Securing 15 regional venture capital firms to serve as the conference’s Selection Committee. These firms currently have more than $3.5 billion under management and their active involvement helps ensure the participation of the region’s best companies at the conference.
• Focusing the TVVF’s first day on early stage companies and reserving the second day for more mature firms seeking a subsequent round of institutional capital.
• Featuring the Tennessee Theatre as the site for the conference reception during the evening of September 26 (we are in discussions with a nationally prominent keynote speaker to headline the reception).
